I think I pictured these few months being more exciting that they have been so far. The only thing I'm excited for is when we get to leave this place and never have to come back again.

I don't have a job, there is no promise of me finding a job, and there is just very very little to do out here. Especially since I don't know anyone. Maybe once Paul starts rolling in the big bucks, I can spend all day online shopping.
Anyway, things aren't that bad. At least we have each other. :)
It's been extremely dry and hot here since we got here, and there's been fires creeping up really close to Fort Huachuca for weeks. I think they're almost completely contained now, but it got a little scary for a while. Last week, Paul spent every day digging trenches and breaking down bushes in order to prevent the fire from spreading onto Fort Huachuca, which apparently happened a few years ago and caused a lot of problems. Looks like their efforts worked, though, because the post is safe!
Monsoon season is indeed in effect; yesterday, we experienced the first lightning storm. It was pretty mild, but it's supposed to continue for the next week or so.
Buut, I won't be around to witness it! We're headed out to Cali this weekend, where I'll stay for the following week, and Paul will only stay for the weekend, then drive back out to "the Zone" (what he likes to call Arizona) and then hopefully drive out again the following weekend for Zach ad Emily's long-awaited wedding! It's just kind of a lame situation, that he has to do so much driving, but what can ya do?!
Alright, I think I'm done here. I'm hoping that I'll eventually have interesting things to blog about. I always start off a post thinking of all the things I have to say, and once I'm done, everything seems so lame. Well, sorry!
